Rights and privileges of members

Subject to the articles of the Association, every member shall be entitled to:

1.1. a copy of the memorandum and articles of association of the Association together with any byelaws enacted thereunder;

1.2. attend all general meetings of the Association and shall receive all notifications, circulars and publications relating to the affairs of the Association and;

1.3. send technical, compliance, legal and Public Relations representatives, as appropriate at each applicable meeting and each member shall have a maximum of one (1) vote per bureau at any meeting.  A representative must be an employee of the bureau that he/she represents.  Support staff may from time to time be invited to meetings but shall not have voting rights unless he/she is there by formal proxy, and duly authorised to vote on behalf of the bureau.  Such proxy must be submitted to the Association in writing prior to the meeting;

1.4. participate in any Association functions or outreach and educational programmes.
