He expressed deep appreciation to every participant who stayed actively engaged throughout the day demonstrating the commitment and passion driving Ugandaโs credit information sharing agenda. This was far more than just an event; it was a powerful convergence of institutions, ideas and shared ambition to strengthen our credit ecosystem.
Mr. Mwanje extended sincere gratitude to our keynote speakers, panelists, moderators, partners and sponsors with special thanks to IFC – International Finance Corporation for their steadfast support, and to the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development Uganda, Bank of Uganda, Financial Sector Deepening Uganda (FSD Uganda), and the CRBs for their leadership in shaping critical discussions.
The day highlighted how far Uganda has already come in building a robust credit infrastructure. Key insights focused on improving data quality, deepening collaboration, expanding participation and championing innovation that unlocks financial inclusion. The strong consensus across sessions affirmed a clear path forward one that requires unity, trusted governance, and market-wide cooperation.
